Hmm...something's weird has been happening lately. My brother is suddenly interested in my baking...since when has that been a thing?
After taking these fresh palmiers out of the oven, he dove right in took a bite. His eyes instantly brightened as he exclaimed how good these are.
So, my conclusion is correct: My brother isn't interested unless it's these palmiers.

Palmier Recipe
Recipe based off of Joy the Baker
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 sheet puff pastry
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup cane sugar on a clean work surface. Roll out 1/2 sheet of puff pastry onto the sugar. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cane sugar on top of puff pastry.
- Roll right side of puff pastry up like a jelly roll and stop in the middle. Do the same for the left side.
- Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour so it can harden and cool.
- Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Rotate baking sheet after 7 minutes in the oven.
- Let cool and serve.
